Detailed Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Jibhi Transfer

Upon your arrival at a pre-determined location, typically a major transportation center like Chandigarh or Bhuntar airport, serves as the beginning of the excursion begins. You’ll be escorted to the peaceful Tirthan Valley, where you’ll find the charming village of Jibhi. With its spiral roads and stunning views of the mountains, the ride itself is a scenic welcome to the quirky travel route. The peaceful village of Jibhi is famous for its wooden houses, a shimmering river, and dense pine forests. You’ll be staying in a cozy homestay or guesthouse on arrival. You have the rest of the day at leisure. Relax with a leisure walk along the side of the Tirthan River, and soak in the peaceful environment.

Day 2: Jibhi and Serolsar Lake Trek

The intention behind this day is to discover the natural beauty of Jibhi. After a hearty breakfast, you will embark on an awe-inspiring trek to Serolsar Lake. The trek is moderate and goes through dense oak and deodar forests. It is a sacred place to the inhabitants of Serolsar Lake, a virgin high-altitude lake surrounded by dense forests. The small temple dedicated to Budhi Nagin stands close by. The journey offers breathtaking views and a chance to come close to nature’s splendour in its unspoilt form. Back at Jibhi, the night is spent enjoying a delicious local dinner.

Day 3: Jalori Pass and Jibhi to Shoja

After breakfast, you’ll proceed to Shoja town, a secluded treasure with sweeping views of the Tirthan Valley. Shoja is famous for its stunning sunrises and serene environment. A trip to Jalori Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass connecting the Tirthan and Seraj Valleys. With a path winding through breathtaking forests, the ride to the pass itself is a treat. You may opt to simply enjoy the scenic view or take the short trek to the spotless Sirolsar Lake from the pass. You can unwind amidst the peaceful environs of Shoja in the evening.

Day 4: Drive to Kinnaur Valley

While travelling from the Tirthan Valley to the remote and stunning Kinnaur Valley, it is an important travel day. The ride is long yet rewarding, covering some of the Himalayas' most spectacular landscapes along the Sutlej River’s shores. You’ll be immersed in the landscape, transforming the lush forests into an arid desert at high altitudes. Kinnaur is famous for its unique culture, apple orchards and blend of Buddhist and Hindu traditions, you’ll find accommodation. You may spend the evening relaxing and be ready for the next few days of this tour.

Day 5: Chitkul & Sangla Valley

After breakfast, you’ll proceed to the stunning Sangla Valley, also referred to as the “Queen of Valleys.” The valley is renowned for its stunning views, towering peaks and the Baspa River flowing through the same. Chitkul is the last human settlement along the Indo-Tibetan border, marking the end of the journey. With its old wooden houses, ancient temples and serene, untainted beauty, this secluded village is an actual attraction of this tour. Wandering through the village, speaking with the locals and gazing at the spectacular views of the snow-capped mountains will occupy the time. You’ll stay overnight at Chitkul or Sangla, which will be an experience you’ll never forget.

Day 6: Explore Reckong Peo and Kalpa

You’ll proceed to Kalpa today; a quaint town is famous for its scenic views of the Kinnaur Kailash mountain range. A stunning view of the Kinnaur Kailash peak is multicoloured during the day from Kalpa. You’ll visit the Narayan-Nagini Temple, famous for its intricate wood carvings and visit the Suicide Point for a thrilling photo shoot. Also, part of the day is a trip to the Kinnaur district headquarters, Reckong Peo. The evening is best spent on a leisurely walk around Kalpa village and enjoying the majestic mountain sunset.

Day 7: Leisure Day

You may enjoy the full beauty of Kalpa on this day, planned for leisure and merriment. You may opt to go to the nearby Buddhist temple, take a short trek to the nearest village, or simply unwind at your accommodation while enjoying the unmatched scenery of the Kinnaur Kailash mountains. The day provides the opportunity to get to know the area and the people better.

Day 8: Kinnaur Departure

After a breakfast amidst stunning mountains, you’ll begin the long return journey. There will be final glimpses of the stunning scenery that has been home to you for the last week on this all-day trip. For your return journey, you will be left off at the nearest transportation node.
