Tour Details:
Day 1: Manali arrival
As you arrive in Manali, you will immediately be immersed in the mountain air and the gushing sounds of the Beas River, uplifting your mood right away. After checking into your hotel or riverfront house, you can spend the afternoon getting adjusted with a heritage walk.
Hadimba Devi Temple is an ancient four-storied wooden temple in a dense cedar grove.
Vashisht Hot Spring is a 4000-year-old temple at Vashisht that is to be visited, and a bath at the natural sulfur spring could be beneficial to health.
End the day in the bustling area of Mall Road, which is the best place to indulge in the hot momo and get some souvenirs.
Day 2: Solang Valley & Atal Tunnel
This day will be focused on the “snow side adventures.”
Solang Valley is also recognized as the adventure capital of Manali. It includes zorbing, ATV rides, and skiing. The whole valley becomes one massive playground when it’s wrapped with snow in winter.
Atal Tunnel is an exhilarating ride through the longest highway tunnel in the world, located at an altitude of over 3000 meters. As you come out of the tunnel through the north portal, the climate and landscape undergo a complete transformation from lush green cedar trees to the dark brown mountains of the Lahaul Valley, capped with snow.
Day 3: The Rohtang Pass
If you’re travelling between May and October, you must not miss an outing to Rohtang Pass, at a height of 3,978 metres. It is a renowned mountain pass that has snow even in summer. It offers a 360-degree panorama of the Pir Panjal Range.
In winter months (November to March), the Rohtang Pass will remain closed because of snow, but you will get to travel to the Sissu region. You can see the frozen lake of Sissu and the beautiful waterfall in January, which becomes an ice sculpture.
Day 4: Adventures in Kullu & Naggar
As an alternate, head south to the Kullu valley today. Enjoy adventures like –
River Rafting: the thrill of Grade II & III rapids in the freezing waters of the Beas River. This is a 7 km to 14 km stretch offering an unmatched rush.
On the return drive to Manali, take a halt at Naggar Castle, built using a blend of Himalayan and European styles of architecture. The valley viewpoint from the balcony of Naggar Castle is perhaps the most scenic around.
Day 5: Paragliding & Old Manali Tour
After a wholesome breakfast, visit the Dobhi/Solang for a paragliding experience. Many people find flying over the landscape like a bird, watching the snow-clad mountains, the highest of this tour.
Jogini Falls Trek is a 2 km trek covered with apple orchards and pine trees before arriving at the breathtaking Jogini Falls.
Explore the hippie culture in the old Manali while enjoying food at legendary cafes like “The Lazy Dog or Café 1947, known for music and wood-fired pizzas.
Day 6: Departure
Post breakfast, take your final walk along the river. Spend the morning at The Tibetan Monastery. Meditate awhile before heading to the bus station or the Bhuntar Airport to get home.

Skiing or Snowboarding is practised mainly in Solang Valley. The cost for learning skiing ranges between ₹500 and ₹1000.
Paragliding is a flight that lasts 5 to 15 minutes. You must wear a windproof jacket since it may be very chilly at high altitudes.
River Rafting is available throughout the year, except during the monsoon season, that is, July to September.
Zorbing is the experience of tumbling down a hill inside a giant transparent orb.
Essential Travel Tips for Manali:
Climate preparation: Temperatures may go down to -5 degree Celsius in winters (December to February). Night temperatures in summer remain between 10 degree Celsius and 15 degree Celsius. It’s important to carry heavy woollens and water-resistant boots for snowy weather.
Rohtang permits: Rohtang Pass requires a certain permit, so if you plan to visit here, then book them 2-3 days in advance.
Acute Mountain Sickness: Manali is at a safe height, but Rohtang Pass and Atal Tunnel are at a high point. So, keep yourself hydrated and avoid tiring yourself too much on the second and third days.
Connectivity: 4G/5G network is quite viable in Manali, although it may weaken once you move beyond the Atal Tunnel in Lahaul.
