Itinerary:

Day 1: Delhi to Manali Drive

On the first day, start your trekking trail from New Delhi to Manali in a Volvo bus which will take around 12 hours approx. Go down to Patlikuhal by bus. Afterward, get a jeep ride to Rumsu base camp. Freshen up and relish your breakfast before you undergo the registration process for the Malana trek to enjoy the Best time for Manali trek.

Afterward, go for an acclimatization walk. Orientation regarding the trek will be given by the chief organizer in the evening. It will cover information like rucksack packing, marching/walking techniques, and general awareness about a Himalayan Trek Stay overnight at Rumsu Base Camp.

Day 2: Ganachalani Transfer

Have a healthy breakfast and then start trekking to the Ghankulhadi campsite of Trekking near Kasol. The trek takes you through some dense forest full of pine, oaks, fir, and chestnut trees. It involves moderate ascend and will take approx. 3-4 hours. Take a stop at sterling for lunch. Stay overnight in tents at Ghankulhadi campsite.

Day 3: Trek to Chaklani Campsite

Begin a trek to the Chaklani campsite after breakfast. The campsite is at 3450 meters and offers amazing views of Manali valley. It will take around 4-5 hours to reach the campsite. The first phase of the trek has a moderate ascend but then it becomes easy. There you can find many peaks like Ali Ratna, Friendship Peak, Deo Tibba, Hanuman Tibba, Tiger Teeth, etc. Stay overnight in the tents.

Day 4: Trek to Chandrakhani Pass

Start the day early in the morning, which takes around 3 hours to reach the top of Chandrakhani Pass from the Chakhlani campsite. Enjoy your lunch at the top of Chandrakhani. Post this, descend to Negroni campsite. The route from here is a descent and will take around 3 hours. Overnight stay will be in tents at Negroni.

Day 5: Trek to Malana

After a wholesome breakfast, you will trek to Malana which takes around 4 to 5 hours. The Malana village trek route has a moderate descent all the way. On the way, you can see a tiny village Dudhon. The villagers are Malani people who have settled there for cultivation. A unique village has its own unique culture and traditions. It is claimed to be the oldest democracy and the locals believe that they are the descendants of Alexandar. In the village, they have some rules and regulations, and outsiders are not allowed to touch any of the books and things. Overnight stay will be in tents included in the Malana Trek cost.

Day 6: Descending from Malana

Today, you will descend to Malana Dam. The route is steep descent but short and does not take more than an hour. Enjoy a ride to Rumsu base camp for lunch. Later, depart for Delhi to conclude the 5 to 6 days trek in Parvati Valley
