Itinerary Details:

Day 1: Arrival and Bir Billing Paragliding

Upon your arrival, you will be warmly received by a private luxury car from the nearest airport or railway station and driven to Bir Billing, India’s paragliding capital. Bir is the landing site, and Billing, is an elevation of 8,000 feet above sea level, is the take-off site. The adventure-packed journey to the site itself provides awe-inspiring sights as it passes through dense pine trees.

You’ll be staying in a luxury camp upon arrival. Such arrangements, unlike traditional camping, have all the comforts of a hotel, accompanied by the thrill of being near nature. When thinking of luxury, spacious tents with electricity, en-suite bathrooms and comfortable mattresses. You’ll gear up for your main adventure after checking in and a safety briefing from a certified expert.

As the paragliding ride is a tandem ride, you’ll have alongside you a trained and experienced pilot. You simply need to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Dhauladhar range of mountains and the green Kangra Valley, promising a spine-tingling yet safe ride. Stay relaxed overnight, you can relax and enjoy having a great meal.

Day 2: Beas River White Water Rafting

You’ll be taken to the Kullu Valley for a thrilling white water rafting tour of the Beas River after a satisfying breakfast at your lavish camp. The Beas River is best suited for both beginners and experienced rafters as it has enthralling rapids, ranging from Grade II to Grade IV.

A team of trained and experienced rafting guides will give you proper safety guidelines. You will be provided with all the necessary safety gear, like helmets and life jackets. The river will meander through scenic valleys and gorges while you raft through a stunning landscape. As you paddle down the rapids with your experienced instructor, you will feel a rush of adrenaline. The entire experience is quite thrilling and safe, providing an unusual watery feeling. You will be brought back to your lavish Bir Billing camp after the rafting adventure. The remaining day is at your disposal to relax and rejuvenate. The evening will be an indulgent affair with dinner and a comfortable night sleep.

Day 3: Cultural Immersion & Trekking

This day of your travel is active and rewarding. You may opt to take a leisurely, guided trekking outing following breakfast. There are several scenic trails in the hills around Bir Billing. You can experience local life and nature by taking a guided trek to the local waterfall or through a small village. You may prefer getting immersed in the area’s rich Tibetan culture. Bir has a lively Tibetan community, and you can see some of its beautiful monasteries, like the Sherabling and Chokling monasteries. These lovely places of worship are serene and spiritual and serve as examples of Tibetan architecture and culture. You can also shop at the local market, where you can relish Tibetan cuisine and purchase handicrafts. You will be escorted to your final luxury camping site in the afternoon. This could be another luxury camp in a new, equally beautiful backdrop, offering stunning views of the Himalayan landscape. With a farewell dinner and one last night of luxurious camping under the stars, the night will be spent enjoying the final hours.

Day 4: Departure

After your meal of the day, get some time off to go for another walk or simply enjoy the peaceful surroundings. A private vehicle will be offered for your drop-off at the train or airport. You’ll leave with a renewed sense of pride and loads of wonderful memories from your Luxury Himachal Adventure Tour.
