Detailed Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Turkey - Delhi – Shimla

Pre-departure preparation: Upon your arrival at Istanbul Airport at least 3 hours before your international flight, allow sufficient time for check-in, security clearance, and immigration process.

Board your connecting flight to Delhi: Board your flight from Istanbul to Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi, taking around 6 to 7 hours.

Check-in & relaxation: After reaching Shimla by late evening, complete the check-in formalities at the pre-booked hotel, and freshen up. Rest well to overcome jet lag and prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 2: Shimla Sightseeing

Morning: After a hearty breakfast, get ready for a full-day exploration of Shimla, which is around 7238 feet above sea level. Start the sightseeing by visiting the Ridge, offering panoramic Himalayan views. Then take a walk down to Mall Road, the town’s vibrant commercial spot lined up with shops, cafes, and colonial buildings.

Afternoon: One of North India’s oldest churches, Christ Church, offers stunning stained-glass windows and ancient architecture. Next, visit the Scandal Point and Viceregal Lodge, featuring stunning architecture with spectacular views.

Evening: If energy allows, take a trek or drive up to Hanuman temple atop Jakhoo Hill, Shimla’s highest peak. The 108-foot-tall Hanuman statue and 360-degree mountain views are breathtaking. Shop for traditional items at Lakkar Bazaar, famous for wooden crafts, walking sticks, toys, and souvenirs. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Shimla - Kullu - Manali

Morning: Post breakfast, leave for a guided transfer to Manali via Kullu Valley. On the way, enjoy dense pine and deodar forests, winding mountain roads, alongside rivers, apple orchards, and through charming Himachali villages. In Kullu, you can have the best lunch of authentic Himachali cuisine at a local restaurant.

Afternoon: Visit the shawl factories to see artisans creating the famous Kullu shawls using traditional techniques. Resume your journey to the Beas River.

Evening: As you reach Manali, check into the hotel and relax after the long journey. Take a short walk around the hotel area to acclimatise to the altitude. Stay overnight in Manali.

Day 4: Solang Valley/Rohtang Pass Excursion

Morning: Have an early breakfast, as this will be an adventure-filled day requiring an early start, especially if visiting Rohtang Pass.

Solang Valley: Reach this adventure hub located between Solang village and Beas Kund in around 30 to 45 minutes. Indulge in adventures like paragliding, zorbing, cable car rides, ATV rides, and horse riding. If visiting during winter (December to February), don’t miss skiing, snowboarding, and snow scooter rides on the snow-capped slopes.

Rohtang Pass: The tour operator will arrange the mandatory permit to access Rohtang Pass. Leave early by 6 to 7 am to avoid traffic and reach before afternoon clouds. The drive itself is amazing, which passes by hairpin bends, past waterfalls, and alongside deep gorges. Enjoy snow activities, click photographs of its dramatic landscape, and soak in the panoramic views of the surroundings.

Evening: Return to Manali for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Manali Sightseeing

Morning: After a wholesome breakfast, get ready to explore the major landmarks of Manali. Start by visiting the Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, and Vashisht village. Explore the Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa with its beautiful Buddhist architecture.

Afternoon: Take a lunch break at one of the finest restaurants in Manali. Shop for traditional artifacts from Manali marketplaces to take back some memories as souvenirs for your near and dear ones.

Evening: Drive back to the hotel in the evening. Enjoy your final night in this adventure capital with dinner and relaxation.

Day 6: Departure
