Itinerary Detail:

Day 1: Shimla Arrival & Travel

Since Chandigarh has excellent air and rail connectivity, the tour typically begins with arrival at one of the major transits. A tour representative will greet travellers on arrival and transfer you to Shimla, the capital of Himachal Pradesh, by road. Take the ride of 3 to 4 hours from Chandigarh to Shimla through the beautiful Shivalik hills. Travellers will check into the pre-booked hotel in Shimla. The colonial feel of the town and the local culture can be introduced charmingly with an evening walk along Shimla’s famous Mall Road or Lower Bazaar.

Day 2: Shimla & Kufri Tour

The next day is spent visiting Shimla’s scenic attractions as well as Kufri, a nearby stunning place. A trip to Kufri is around 13 to 16 kms from Shimla, typically occurring in the morning. Kufri offers a range of activities and is famous for its scenic views. Here are some of the major sightseeing points, like:

Day 3: Shimla to Manali Transfer

The day of this tour involves a long road transfer from Shimla to Manali, which usually lasts for 7 to 8 hours. The tour is very scenic, winding along the mighty Beas River, past lush valleys, apple orchards, and beautiful mountain roads. Once travellers have reached Manali, they will report to the hotel booked earlier.

Day 4: Manali Local Sightseeing Tour

Day 6: Manali to Dharamshala Transfer & Sightseeing

The day is planned for a guided transfer to Dharamshala, which takes around 6 to 7 hours. The Himalayan landscapes during the journey keep on changing. The travellers will check into the hotel after arriving in Dharamshala. Well-known as Little Lhasa, the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and the capital of the Tibetan Government. Some of its major sightseeing points are –

Namgyal Monastery is the famous Tibet Museum and the shrine of the Dalai Lama. It is a place of great spiritual importance and offers great insight into Tibetan Buddhism and Culture.

Bhagsu Nag Temple & Waterfall is devoted to Lord Shiva, offering a picturesque hike leading to the waterfall.

Day 7: Dharamshala to Dalhousie Transfer & Khajjiar Tour

There’s a scenic road trip planned on the 7th day of this tour from Dharamshala to Dalhousie, which takes 4 to 5 hours. Dalhousie offers a different Himalayan experience with colonial charm and a peaceful environment. The travellers will check into their hotel on arrival and relax. The following day would be used for visiting Khajjiar, “Mini Switzerland,” known for its Swiss landscape. With a small lake in the center and dense deodar woods, this place is perfect for picnicking, adventure sports like zorbing, and worshipping the Khajji Nag Temple. Later return to Dharamshala for a relaxing night's stay.

Day 8: Departure

On the last day of this tour, you will be departing for your hometown. The travellers will be escorted to a suitable departure point to board for their journey ahead. The tour ends here.
