Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Bageshwar Arrival
Upon your arrival at Bageshwar, explore the town of Bageshwar and visit the old Bagnath temple at the confluence of the Saryu and Gomti River.
Stay: In the hotel.
Day 2: Bageshwar – Jaitoli
Take a drive to Kharkiya from Bageshwar, which is a 3-hour journey. After having lunch, a trek to Jaitoli Village from Kharkiya. Khati is the biggest village coming across on the trek to Pindari Glacier. The trail passes through the dense forests of Rhododendrons. It is the last village en route to the Pindari & Kafni glacier. Khati lies on the banks of the Pindar River, Jaitolithe last village en-route to the Sunderdhunga trek.
Stay: In the Camp.
Day 3: Jaitoli – Kathalia
Hike from Jaitoli Village to Kathalia Base Camp, which is 14 kms long. Today’s hike is moderate in rating and covers a dense alpine forest. Jaitoli is 8 kms away from Dhungiadhaun. Next, you’ll reach to Kathalia is a popular destination for trekkers, which is at an elevation of 3260 meters. The last destination on Sunderdhunga trek is Kathalia, where you can see the beautiful waterfall.

Day 4: Kathlia – Baluni Top
Enjoy a trek from Kathlia base camp to Baluni Top, which is 4 kms away. While trekking to Baluni Top, the trekkers may get exhausted, but the reward is great with breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Baluni Top is at an altitude of 3500 meters above the sea level. One can witness the Maiktoli, Panwalidwar, Nanda Devi East and Baljouri Peaks.

Day 5: Baluni Top – Devi Kund
Trek to Devi Kund from Baluni Top is 6 kms, which takes you through the Boulder Zone and Sukhram Cave. This may take 4 to 5 hours to reach Devi Kund. It lies at an elevation of 14500 feet, and its name denotes “the home of devi.” Surrounded by the magnificent Maiktoli peak and perpendicular Mt. Panwalidwar, the scenic views of the lake from across the globe.

Day 6: Devi Kund – Nag Kund
Hike from Devi Kund campground to Nag kund is around 6 kilometers. The desire to be at the top of Kanakata Pass becomes greater as the route slowly becomes tougher and rugged. Mrigthuni, Maiktoli, Panwalidwar, Tharkot, Baljouri and Bhanoti are the snow-capped peaks, which are distinctly visible on this walk.

Day 7: Nag Kund – Patharkandi via Kanakata Pass
Take a hike of 2 kilometers to Kanakata Pass and then 6 kms to Patharkandi campsite. The journey to Patharkandi campsite is 5 to 6 hours away.
Stay: In the Camp at Patharkunia
Day 8: Patharkunia – Jaitoli Village
On this day, begin a trek from the Patharkandi camping site to Jaitoli village, which is 8 kms away.
Stay: In the Camp at Jaitoli Village
Day 9: Jaitoli – Khati Village – Bageshwar
The trek from Jaitoli village to Kharkia is 13 kms away. Take a drive back to Bageshwar after lunch in Kharkiya.
