Delhi to Manali Overnight Journey

Embark on an overnight trip from Delhi to Manali. The package’s “By Volvo” section highlights the transport mode, an air-conditioned, comfortable bus having semi-sleeper seats. It ensures a relatively comfortable and peaceful journey whilst allowing backpackers to economize on transport costs. A key component of the budget deal is the overnight trip, which reduces the cost of accommodations for one evening and renders the three-day experience more affordable. Ensure you wake up in the morning, feel refreshed and ready to discover the mountains, the bus will leave in the late evening.

Day 1: Manali Arrival and Sightseeing

You’ll be greeted by the scenic beauty and fresh air when you arrive in Manali early morning. You’ll be dropped off at the budget hotel or hostel you’ve pre-booked. Make the tour budget-friendly, the accommodation will be clean and comfortable, but not with the luxury of a five-star hotel. After a quick check-in and breakfast, the day is spent exploring Manali’s local scene. A walking tour of Old Manali, a hot favorite spot of backpackers and famous for its bohemian culture, quaint cafes and unique gift stores. You can spend your time walking down the unpaved streets, having coffee at either of the riverside cafes.

Visit the peaceful wooden Hadimba Devi Temple, located within a deodar wood, could also be included in the tour. A trip to the Tibetan Monastery and a stroll along the crowded Mall Road provides a more cultural experience and a glimpse of local life. The backpackers are at liberty to visit as they please since the day is flexibly planned.

Day 2: Adventures in Manali

Adventure and experiencing the natural beauty of Manali are the emphasis on the second day. A day trip to a nearby adventure zone, like Solang Valley, is typically part of the package. The backpackers are offered a range of adrenaline-pumping activities without a hefty price tag. Foreigners can choose to participate in sports activities like zorbing, paragliding, or a short trek to a vantage point. Travellers can simply make their tour suit their needs and price point since transportation to and from the valley is part of the package rate, although the activity itself may not be. A trip to the Atal Tunnel, a modern marvel of engineering that connects Manali with the Lahaul Valley, may be included in a different tour. It allows the trekkers to view part of the more remote, high-country landscape without needing a detailed itinerary of travel.

You’ll return to your hotel in the late afternoon for a well-deserved nap.

Day 3: Manali departure

A leisurely breakfast begins the tour’s 3rd and final day. If you have time, you can take an evening walk along the banks of the Beas River, shop for some local souvenirs. You’ll be dropped back to the bus stop for your return journey after you check out from the hotel in the afternoon. Your budget Himalayan trip ends here with another comfortable Volvo bus journey back to Delhi as the final stretch of the trip.
