Tour Duration: 5 nights 6 days

Destinations Covered: Dharamkot/Dharamshala or Vashisht/Manali

Detailed Tour Plan:

Day 1: Arrival & Rejuvenation

Your arrival at the chosen wellness center signals the beginning of the retreat. A peaceful ambience is abounded by deodar forests and provides wide vistas of the Dhauladhar range. After a warm welcome, you’ll be escorted to your comfortable, eco-friendly accommodations. The initial day is spent settling in and preparing for the week ahead. This entails your first relaxing yoga and meditation class in the evening, a brief introduction and a one-on-one meeting with a wellness expert to discover your objectives.

Day 2: Inner Peace & Sun Salutations

Enjoy Surya Namaskar to energize the body and mind. The day begins early with a sunrise yoga practice. A healthy, cleaning breakfast follows. A proper study of Hatha or Vinyasa yoga is included in the morning session, with a focus on alignment and pranayama. You can interact with the stunning Himalayan landscape in the afternoon by taking a guided nature walk or a short trek to a nearby scenic spot. This connection with nature is an integral part of the wellness philosophy. An evening meal, guided meditation session and complete the evening.

Day 3: Sound Healing & Holistic Therapies

Holistic therapies are a special focus on the third day. An intense yoga session begins the day, followed by a full meal. The afternoon is reserved for therapies like sound therapy or a personalized massage. An empowering experience that promotes stress relief and the removal of mental blockages is sound healing. A healing massage will encourage circulation and help to release tight muscles. The evening will be topped off with a discussion or workshop on a wellness topic, like the importance of a balanced diet, mindfulness, and Ayurvedic principles.

Day 4: Silence & Spiritual Inquiry

The focus on this day is more on in-depth spiritual inquiry and reflection. After breakfast and morning yoga, the class goes to a specific location like a local temple or a serene place near a river, for a different kind of practice. A period of Mauna is reserved for the afternoon. Avoid speaking during this powerful practice allows participants to settle inward, tune in to their mind, and feel a profound feeling of peace. A quiet reflective dinner concludes the night, and once the quiet has been shattered, as a group reflection period.

Day 5: Reconnect with yourself

The main objective of the final full-day is to synthesize all the learnings and prepare you for returning to your normal life. The morning yoga practice will be more therapeutic with a gentle flow to honour the body.

Thereafter, breakfast, followed by a class on how to maintain a wellness routine at home, including an introduction to basic yoga postures, meditation techniques and nutrition suggestions. You can rest in the afternoon to wander about your neighbourhood at your leisure, perhaps by visiting a nearby market or simply sipping tea and taking notes. It’s your chance to discuss the whole journey and reflect on the changes you’ve seen in yourself.

Day 6: Departure

A brief stimulating yoga practice and a closing appreciation meditation initiate the final morning. After a light and healthy breakfast, you’ll have some free time before checking out. There will be a goodbye session in which you will be able to thank your teachers and new friends and say goodbye to them.
