Begin the next day amid the serene surroundings of Pahalgam. Get ready to have a return drive to Srinagar, around a 2 to 3 hours drive away. The 3rd day marks the beginning of an excursion to Gulmarg, a famous hill station and ski destination, located around 50 kms from Srinagar. The 4th day of this tour involves a day trip to Sonamarg, known as the Meadow of Gold. The trip from Srinagar to Sonamarg is approximately 80 kms drive. On reaching there, visit the Thajiwas Glacier, which remains covered with snow most of the year. You can reach the glacier on a short trek, or hire a pony for a more relaxed experience.
