Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Arrival at Sankri
Your arrival at Sankri will be warmly welcomed and you will meet the trek leader who will assist you with the homestay transfer. The remaining day will be at leisure.

Day 2: Poani Gharat/Seema Trek
Early morning, meet the trek leader and leave for the Sankri to Taluka trek. We’ll begin the trek to Seema (2260m) on a flat ground after breakfast at Taluka, with a lunch pack. We’ll go through the dense green forests of chestnuts, walnuts, willows, chinars, and other coniferous trees, with some waterfalls in between. Reach Seema camps by the end of the afternoon.

Day 3: Poani Gharat/Seema – Seematra
The Seema trail will initially go towards the actual left of the valley, moving through fields before crossing the suspension bridge over the Rupin River to get to the actual side of the valley. The trail now ascends, moving through fields with huts and pastures. Across the valley, the conifer cover is amazing and adorable.

Day 4: Seematra – Har ki Dun – Maninda Tal
In the morning, we’ll proceed early from Seematra. The trail, after a couple of kilometers, passes through and gives a marvelous view of Har ki Dun. The trail gradually goes uphill before turning steep at places and passing through beautiful meadows. Har ki Dun and Swargarohini Peak stand above the small stream where the campsite is located. After lunch, we’ll cross the wooden bridge near the Har ki Dun Forest Rest House and proceed right on the dirt path, taking us to a green valley. One can easily see Swargarohini and Hata Peak, directly behind the forest rest house. Proceed to the path, which then curves through huge boulders. A large valley with a stream that flows from Marinda Tal is witnessed when the tree line finishes. Enjoy the stunning views of the green fields and snow-capped peaks.

Day 5: Maninda Tal – Sauni Bhera
From Maninda Tal, you will go on a trek to Sauni Bhera. Take in the peaceful surroundings of Maninda Tal before departure. Take a walk-through diverse landscapes like rocky paths, meadows and perhaps glacier moraines. Observe the landscape transforming as you hike upward. Click amazing photographs of the surrounding valleys. Arrive at Sauni Bheri, a campsite which is often passed on the way to Borasu Pass.

Day 6: Sauni Bhera – Borasu Pass Base Camp
Begin the trek to Borasu pass base camp. During the trek, you will proceed towards higher altitudes, the more difficult the terrain will be. The more you ascend in elevation, the thinner the vegetation will become. Enjoy the surrounding glaciers and high peaks. Reach the altitude campsite that is Borasu Pass, where there is a base for pass attempts. Admire the stunning views of the mountains while preparing for the arduous hike the next day.
Day 7: Borasu Pass Base Camp – Borasu Pass – Bonga Camp
We are crossing the Borasu Pass today. We’ll leave early in the morning to make the most of the time since the hike will be tough today. At the dawn, when the first rays of the sun strike the summits, they are soaked in the gold. You can see the Saubhera campground and the Borasu glacier. Set out for the pass on the snow slopes. To reach the pass, we will walk around 8 miles. Boulders and scree are prevalent on the final ascent to the pass.

Day 8: Bonga Camp – Chitkul
The breathtaking views today will keep you engaged in clicking photographs, and the hike down the valley is easy. Meet the locals and experience the forest living. The 14 kms hike takes roughly 8 to 9 hours. Amongst the best walks of this tour is this one. Spend the night in the village of Chitkul, you may plan the return next day.

Day 9: Departure from Chitkul (Himachal)
