Day 1: Ranikhet Arrival
Upon your arrival in Ranikhet, meet our tour representatives and get transferred to the pre-booked hotel. Ranikhet is a tranquil hill station, famous for its dense pine forests, colonial-era bungalows and peaceful surroundings.
Followed by refreshing vibes, hike up to the Jhula Devi Temple, an ancient temple of Goddess Durga and famous for the bells of thousands. On the other hand, Chaubatia Orchards offer a chance to walk through orchids that have apples, peaches and apricots hanging from them with a bird’s eye view of Himalaya’s Snow Peaks. Stay overnight in Ranikhet.
Day 2: Ranikhet Sightseeing
Start the day with a trip to Majhkhali, with beautiful views of Mount Trishul and Nanda Devi. Further proceed to the Kumaon Regimental Centre Museum, the treasure house of the Gallant history of the Indian army and Kumaon Regiment. Enjoy a picnic at Bhalu dam, an artificial lake enclosed by mature woods, perfect for photography. Afternoon visit to the Upat Golf Course, one of Asia’s highest golf courses, lying in pine grooves. Stay relaxed overnight at the hotel in Ranikhet.
Day 3: Almora Transfer
Have a healthy breakfast and then take a 2-hour journey to Almora, a historic town steeped in cultural heritage, stunning scenery, and ancient temples. Complete the check-in formalities and then leave for a sightseeing trip to Bright End Corner, known to offer a panoramic view of the Himalayan sunset. Visit Kasar Devi Temple, a divine location used to be explored by Swami Vivekananda and several other mystics. Walking tour of Lala Bazaar, a 200-year-old bazaar with wooden shops selling local handicrafts, woollens, and brassware. Stay overnight in Almora.
Day 4: Binsar Transfer
The day begins early with a delicious breakfast followed by a trip to Binsar, the scenic hill resort and home of the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary forest is renowned for its high degree of biodiversity, with habitats of leopards, barking deer and over 200 species of birds. Upon arrival, explore Zero Point, the highest point of Binsar, offering 360-degree views of the Himalayan peaks of Nanda Devi, Kedarnath and Panchachuli. The trek through the dense oak and rhododendron forests is an ultimate experience. Stay relaxed overnight at a jungle lodge amid soothing sounds of nature and stargazing at a Himalayan sky.
Day 5: Kausani Transfer
This morning, after breakfast, leave for a road trip to Kausani, a hill resort famous for its scenic views of sunrise and sunset in the Himalayan peaks. Explore the Anasakti Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi took rest and wrote his book Anashakti Yoga. Travel around the Baijnath Temple complex, a very old complex of Shiva temples dating back to the 12th century, charmingly located near the Gomti River. In the afternoon, enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks, a heart-rending experience for which Kausani has been known as the “Switzerland of India.” Stay relaxed overnight in Kausani.
Day 6: Departure from Kausani
On the last day of this journey, have a healthy breakfast and begin a return trip to Kathgodam or Delhi, relishing the serene landscape and cultural interactions. On arrival, get a drop off at your desired place for your onward journey.
